As a family dentist, we are here to provide a variety of treatments to help our patients improve their oral health. We provide a variety of treatment options to do so, including:
#1. Routine cleanings and examinations
It is important to visit our family dentist office for a dental examination and teeth cleaning twice per year. Visiting us twice a year allows us to be proactive and offer preventative care. We now have the opportunity to determine if there are any signs of decay or gum disease. If we identify any signs, we can provide immediate treatment.
It is possible for treatments to be fast and easy as long as we can identify the problem early on. While cleaning teeth, we are also able to remove plaque and tartar that can lead to future health problems.
#2. Gum disease treatments
Gum disease often arises when plaque or tartar build up around the portion of the teeth underneath the gum line. It is difficult, if not impossible, to remove this at home and so our gum disease treatment often begins with a deep cleaning. As a laser dentist office, we can do so using a non-invasive treatment option.
Once the plaque and tartarare gone, the gums often heal themselves naturally. However, we also offer gum disease treatments for patients who are already experiencing problems like pockets in the gum tissue.
#3. Treating tooth decay
Soft spots in the tooth are anindication of tooth decay. In our laser dentist office, we can treat decay quickly and without causing discomfort. Since we do not use dental drills, the anxiety patients tend to feel when visiting the dentist is non-existent. Dental drills are loud, noisy and create a lot of heat. Lasers are quiet and comfortable, allowing for a fast treatment that is entirely comfortable.
Once we remove the decayed portion of the tooth, we can fill it with a tooth-colored filling so that the tooth is completely restored and natural looking.
#4. Dental restorations
We treat many patients that have a need for natural-looking dental restorations. A tooth may need restoration after it sustains a crack or chip. This can happen through the daily course of life by eating something that is too hard or being in a simple accident. We also restore teeth and complete a full mouth reconstruction when a patient has been in something serious like a car accident.
Additional restorations may be necessary after losing a tooth in an accident or to decay. We have the tools necessary to complete it in the least invasive manner possible while ensuring that the restoration looks entirely natural.
We are a different type of family dentist
Most dental offices still use traditional dental equipment like picks and drills. We are a laser dentist office which means that we offer the same high-quality care while using non-invasive methods. As a result, patients of all ages and dental health tend to have a far better experience when visiting our clinic. We invite you to schedule an appointment to experience this difference for yourself.
